Mental and Emotional Disorders In Students During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Changes in learning methods during the COVID-19 pandemic resulted increased stress students which had a negative impact on their mental health. Stress causes physiological responses, psychological reactions, maladaptive behaviour, confusion and frustration. An overload of also stimulates other health problems including anxiety, hopelessness or powerlessness, depression lack self-esteem. This study aimed to determine emotional disorders pandemic. was cross-sectional study. 153 senior high school Malang Indonesia were selected by random sampling technique participate The variable disorder measured with PSC-17 questionnaire. Data analyzed using SPSS. result this indicated that pandemic, experienced internalizing (83.25%), externalizing (2.61%) attention (21.57%). There only 15.69% respondents who showed no indication disorder. results adolescents struggles, especially symptoms such as sadness, gloom, inferiority.
